The Associate Sourcing Specialist is an entry-level position within the centralized, strategic sourcing department, focusing on supporting procurement activities, supplier communication, and data management to contribute to cost-effective sourcing strategies. You will collaborate closely with suppliers, internal sourcing teams, and stakeholders to maintain the supply chain integrity, optimize costs, and uphold quality standards. What will you do at Graco? Communication: Communicate with suppliers and internal stakeholder the business’ requirements. Help in coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth procurement processes. Gather and analyze supplier data to assess capabilities and pricing. Monitor supplier performance metrics to ensure quality and adherence to delivery schedules and pricing. Data Management: Maintain accurate sourcing records and data in the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. Participate in Request for Proposal (RFP) development and participate in supplier selection. Track late open orders and ensuring timely delivery of materials. Assist in gathering and analyzing market data, supplier information, and pricing details. Procurement Support: Address any issues or discrepancies related to orders, shipments, or quality concerns in collaboration with relevant stakeholders. Support Intermediate and Senior Sourcing Specialists with request for proposal (RFP) creation, market research, sourcing strategy development, and supplier evaluation and selection. Follows directives and executes tasks under the guidance of the Category Manager, while reporting direct to the Sourcing Manager. What will you bring to Graco? Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Economics, or related field (or equivalent experience). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
