Senior Program Manager Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of IT projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and business priorities. Coordinate multiple work streams across cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and accountability throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Partner closely with product teams to translate business needs into actionable delivery plans. Facilitate Agile ceremonies and PI (Program Increment) planning sessions to establish roadmaps, prioritize initiatives, and drive execution. Provide clear, consistent communication of project status, risks, and mitigation strategies to stakeholders and senior leadership. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including requirements, progress reports, and risk assessments. Support modernization efforts for legacy applications and programs, identifying opportunities for process improvement and technical uplift. Implement change management strategies to minimize disruption and ensure smooth transitions across teams and systems. Oversee quality assurance and testing processes, ensuring delivery of high-quality solutions that meet business and compliance standards. Cultivate strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and external partners to understand evolving needs and expectations. Contribute to Agile coaching efforts, helping teams mature their practices and improve delivery velocity. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. Proven experience as an IT Program Manager, ideally within life sciences or other regulated industries. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, negotiate, and align diverse stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent work streams and collaborate effectively with product teams. Solid understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies; Agile coaching experience is a strong plus. Experience with modernization of legacy systems and programs is highly desirable. Familiarity with DevOps practices and QA/testing procedures; technical depth is not required but comfort with technical environments is expected. Critical thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity. Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic environments with shifting priorities. Life sciences experience is a plus, as is exposure to any industry handling regulated data (e.g., finance, healthcare, insurance). Track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and aligned to stakeholder expectations.
