Established in 2001, it has built a strong presence in the St. Louis metropolitan area and emphasizes exceptional client service while recognizing employees as a key driver of its success.About the Opportunity:The Processing Assistant supports Mortgage Loan Originators with administrative and loan processing activities to ensure transactions move efficiently through each stage. This role contributes to a smooth customer experience by preparing loan files, coordinating appointments and communications, conducting preliminary research, and providing day-to-day support to mortgage lending teams.Responsibilities:• Prepare borrower documents and loan files for submission.• Schedule signing appointments and coordinate communications with customers and realtors.• Conduct preliminary research related to borrower and loan eligibility.• Assist with pre-qualification and pre-approval processes.• Pull credit reports and run Automated Underwriting System analyses.• Enter loan and borrower information and create new customer files.• Update marketing and Mortgage Loan Originator databases.• Provide clerical and administrative support to Mortgage Loan Originators and other team members as needed.• Maintain accurate and organized loan documentation throughout the processing workflow.Requirements:• High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred.• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience or training.• Experience with Encompass or comparable mortgage lending software.• Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Office.• Knowledge of the mortgage lending industry and products, including Conventional, FHA, and VA loans.• Understanding of RESPA laws and guidelines.• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.• Strong customer service and communication skills.• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.Pay Range and Compensation Package:• Annual salary range: $50,000–$55,000, non-exempt.• Eligibility for a per-file bonus.Equal Opportunity Statement:Equal Opportunity Statement: Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
