UKG Product Owner, Hybrid
As the Product Owner for our payroll and HR platform, you will drive product strategies that meet client needs and align with business goals. This role requires an expert in payroll, HR, and tax compliance, with a particular focus on UKG-Kronos or similar platforms. You'll oversee the product lifecycle from concept to launch, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with regulatory standards and client expectations.Key Responsibilities:Define and communicate the product vision, incorporating industry insights and client needs to enhance payroll and HR functionalities.Maintain a detailed, prioritized backlog, focusing on high-impact tasks that align with business and client priorities.Engage with clients, sales, marketing, and development teams to refine requirements and deliver high-value features.Lead sprint planning and ensure that user stories and acceptance criteria are clearly defined.Track feature usage and analyze data to identify enhancement opportunities, focusing on client satisfaction and feature adoption.Conduct competitive analysis to inform product decisions, ensuring our platform meets evolving industry standards.Coordinate product roll-outs and provide training resources for clients and internal teams to optimize product use.Requirements: 3-5+ years as a Product Owner or in product management, specifically within payroll, HR, or workforce management solutions; UKG-Kronos experience preferred.Payroll & HR Expertise: Strong understanding of payroll processing, tax compliance, and HR functions.Proficient in agile methodologies, backlog management, and user story development.Skilled in using analytics tools to monitor feature adoption and inform data-driven product decisions.Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional discussions and manage stakeholder expectations.Preferred Qualifications: Certifications: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar preferred.Technical Familiarity: Experience with cloud-based payroll and HR solutions.Industry Experience: Prior experience in payroll processing or HR services.
