Construction Estimator

Job description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will support and assist the lead or senior estimator in calculating labor and material costs for various construction or manufacturing projects. This role entails preparing initial cost estimates for required services and products, developing price schedules, bid proposals, and analyzing the technical aspects of projects. The junior estimator will also assist in carrying out list analysis assessments related to project costs. Responsibilities Support lead/senior estimator in project cost calculations Estimate and calculate expected costs for construction or manufacturing projects Prepare initial cost estimates for services, products, and materials Develop price schedules and bid proposals Analyze technical aspects of projects Assist in list analysis assessments related to project costs Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders Monitor and report on project estimating progress and cost changes Requirements Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field (highly suggested) Strong analytical and mathematical skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Proficiency in estimation software and MS Office Suite Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Relevant work experience or internships in a similar role is an advantage Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with construction materials and methods Knowledge of industry standards and regulations Strong organizational skills Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Experience: Construction estimating: 1 year (Required) Work Location: In person
