This role is ideal for an early-career scientist eager to build technical expertise, contribute to real-world products, and grow within a structured, team-based R&D organization.You will work closely with experienced scientists and cross‑functional partners while gaining exposure to assay development, quality systems, and continuous improvement practices.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport stage‑gate product development activities, including assay development, validation, and technology transferExecute laboratory experiments such as ELISA and lateral flow assays following established protocolsPerform routine laboratory activities including sample preparation, pipetting, buffer preparation, and general lab operationsMaintain accurate, detailed, and well-organized electronic laboratory notebooksAnalyze and interpret experimental data using Excel or similar tools; identify trends and potential issuesPrepare and present experimental results at team data reviewsSupport project documentation and progress tracking using tools such as SmartsheetProvide regular project updates to team leaders and managersCollaborate with R&D, Quality Assurance, and Manufacturing teamsContribute to reports, test plans, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)Handle regulated materials in compliance with internal quality and safety standardsFollow all safety policies and promptly report unsafe conditionsParticipate in continuous improvement, training, and knowledge‑sharing initiativesLead by example through strong teamwork, attention to detail, and a positive work ethicRequired Skills & AttributesStrong attention to detail, accountability, and reliabilityBasic analytical and problem‑solving abilitiesClear and professional communication skillsAbility to follow instructions and learn new laboratory techniques quicklyExperience recording and interpreting experimental dataSelf‑motivated, curious, and eager to learnWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelPositive, collaborative attitudeRequiredEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Immunology, Molecular Biology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related scientific fieldHands‑on laboratory experience through academic research or internshipsPreferredExperience with diagnostic assays or applied researchFoundational knowledge of immunoassays and antigen–antibody interactionsExposure to validation, verification, or quality systemsExperience working in regulated environmentsFamiliarity with electronic lab notebooks and project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet)Physical RequirementsAbility to work in both laboratory and office environmentsProficiency using a computer and keyboardAbility to lift up to 25 poundsAbility to stand for extended periods of timeWhy Join Envirologix?Hands-on laboratory role with real-world impactStrong mentorship and structured learningCollaborative, team-oriented cultureClear pathway for technical and career growthCommitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvementEnviroLogix is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
