This position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Barudan (or comparable) multi-head embroidery machines, overlock machines, and heat presses. In addition to machine operation, this role performs finishing of emblems, assists with quality inspection, packaging, and supports other production tasks as assigned. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and able to maintain consistent quality and productivity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Essential Duties and Responsibilities•      Operate Barudan multi-head embroidery machines, including loading designs, hooping/framing material, threading, monitoring stitch quality, and clearing thread breaks or other run-time issues.•      Operate overlock (Merrow) machine to finish edges of emblems and other goods to specification.•      Operate heat press equipment to apply backings, transfers, and laminates at the correct time, temperature, and pressure for each product.•      Perform finishing of emblems, including trimming, cutting, inspecting, and cleaning final pieces to meet quality standards.•      Inspect work in progress and finished product for defects; reject and report non-conforming items to the supervisor.•      Assist with packaging of finished emblems, including counting, bagging, labeling, and preparing orders for shipment.•      Perform routine machine cleaning, oiling, and basic preventative maintenance; report mechanical issues promptly.•      Follow production schedules, work orders, and verbal/written instructions to meet daily output and quality targets.•      Accurately complete production records, tags, and any required paperwork.•      Assist with other duties as assigned to support overall facility and production needs.Qualifications•      Prior experience operating Barudan or comparable multi-head embroidery machines preferred.•      Experience with overlock/serger machines and heat press equipment preferred.•      Familiarity with embroidery thread, backings, stabilizers, and emblem finishing processes is a plus.•      Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify quality defects.•      Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.•      Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.•      Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent production pace.•      Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.Requirements•      Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions in English.•      Ability to perform basic math (counting, measuring, simple addition/subtraction).•      Authorization to work in the United States.•      Reliable transportation to the Long Beach, California facility.•      Willingness to follow all safety policies. Physical Demands and Work Environment•      Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and use hands continuously throughout an 8-hour shift.•      Ability to lift and carry up to 15 pounds regularly and up to 40 pounds occasionally.•      Close visual acuity required for inspecting embroidery, threading machines, and finishing emblems.•      Work is performed in a manufacturing environment that may include exposure to noise, heat from heat-press equipment, dust, and lint.Schedule•      8-hour shift•      Monday through Friday•      Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.CompensationStarting pay: $19.00+/hour, commensurate with experience.
