The VP of Finance will lead a lean finance team, establish scalable financial systems, and ensure compliance with industry standards in a highly regulated environment. Collaboration with the executive team, particularly the CEO, and with operational, regulatory, and supply chain teams, is essential to align financial and strategic objectives. Applicants for the VP of Finance position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, with an MBA preferred, and a CPA certification. A minimum of 12 years' of progressive finance and accounting experience, including leadership roles, is required, with a strong background in regulated industries such as biotech, med-tech, or biologics. The role demands a proven track record in preparing companies for public offerings, experience with external auditors, and a deep understanding of regulatory compliance environments. The ideal candidate will have experience partnering with VC or PE-backed companies, including investor reporting, and a background in a Big 4 or Tier 2 accounting firm is advantageous.
