PRN Hospice Chaplain

*Job Overview* We are seeking a a professional Chaplain to provide spiritual guidance and support to hospice patients and their families. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, empathy and a deep understanding of pastoral care and end of life issues. *Duties* - Offer emotional and spiritual support to individuals facing challenging circumstances - Provide mentoring and guidance to individuals seeking spiritual growth - Conduct crisis management and intervention when necessary - Assist in conflict resolution through spiritual guidance - Educate individuals on matters of faith and provide resources for personal growth - Write and deliver sermons, prayers, and other spiritual messages - Offer bereavement support to individuals and families in times of loss - Engage in public speaking engagements to share messages of hope and faith *Skills* - Excellent communication skills for effectively interacting with individuals in need - Proficiency in Christian counseling principles - Ability to mentor and guide individuals seeking spiritual development - Strong crisis management and intervention skills - Conflict resolution abilities through spiritual guidance - Capacity to educate others on matters of faith and personal growth - Proficient in writing sermons, prayers, and other spiritual messages - Experience in providing bereavement support to individuals and families - Skilled in public speaking to deliver messages of hope and faith Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 5 – 10 per week Benefits: Flexible schedule Mileage reimbursement Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday No nights No weekends Experience: pastoral care: 1 year (Preferred) Chaplaincy: 1 year (Required) End of life issues: 1 year (Required) Clinical counseling: 1 year (Required) Ability to Commute: Northbrook, IL (Required) Work Location: In person
