Supports and mentors interns and volunteers, while ensuring that the goals of the semester are met.Job Description:Assists the Director with planning a minimum of 3 Women's Center events per semester, which includes the AS Women's Conference in Spring.Organizes and facilitates rap/support group sessionsContributes to and submits written monthly and annual reports to SupervisorOrders student support supplies following AS purchasing process maintains office supplies, as well as safe sex suppliesPromotes available WC student support services through marketing and outreachSchedules and coordinates internal functions of the Directors by making appointments and room reservations for meetingsMaintains inventory of booksOversees the Program's Internship by recruiting, tracking intern hours, and supporting with onboarding and end of semester intern recognitionSupports with design and social media requests to create marketing materials for annualand outreach eventsQualifications :Current student at San Francisco State University taking at least 6 units for undergraduates or 4 units for graduatesPrevious volunteer in the Women's Center preferredExcellent verbal & written communication skillsStrong de-escalation skillsKnowledge of Women's Center resourcesRelationship with external campus organizations is a plusOutreach skills necessaryExperience managing a team/coordinating volunteers.Limitations and DisclaimerThe above job description is meant to describe the general nature and level of work beingperformed; it is not intended to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties andskills required for the position.
