New Jersey Licensed Benefits Underwriter
A company is looking for an Employee Benefits Underwriting Consultant.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze health and welfare program data to develop renewal projections and rate recommendations
Serve as the primary underwriting resource for assigned clients, supporting various funding arrangements
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to optimize pricing and ensure compliance with underwriting standards
Required Qualifications
2-5+ years of experience in employee benefits underwriting or actuarial services
Bachelor's degree, CEBS/other professional designation, or equivalent work experience required
Life & Health insurance license (or willingness to obtain)
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with actuarial modeling tools
Technical experience with BenefitPoint, AI, and Benefit Administration Systems is preferred
