Hi Professionals,Role: DevOps EngineerLocation: RemoteDuration: ContractJob Summary:We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer who can combine software development and IT operations to build, test, and maintain the infrastructure and tools that improve the speed and reliability of our software deployments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud platforms, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and configuration management.Key Responsibilities:Infrastructure Management: Design, build, and manage scalable, resilient infrastructure in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.).CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes for development, testing, and production environments.Automation: Write scripts and automation tools to streamline development workflows, infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and deployments.Monitoring and Logging: Implement and manage monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) to ensure high availability and performance.Configuration Management: Use tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef for infrastructure configuration and software management.Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of systems.Security: Ensure security best practices and policies are enforced across all infrastructure and deployment processes.Troubleshooting: Perform root cause analysis for system failures and implement preventative measures.Containerization: Manage and orchestrate Docker containers using Kubernetes or similar tools.Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for processes and systems.Required Skills and Qualifications:Experience: 7-9+ years of experience in DevOps, System Administration, or Cloud Engineering.Cloud Platforms: Expertise with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including services like EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.CI/CD Tools: Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar tools.Scripting Languages: Proficient in one or more scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, Ruby).Configuration Management: Experience with Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or similar tools.Containerization: Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.Version Control: Proficiency with Git for source control and collaboration.Networking: Understanding of networking fundamentals, including DNS, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs.Operating Systems: Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems.Monitoring Tools: Familiarity with tools like Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.Problem-solving: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Rush Quality Profiles @ Richard.Brown@crescentsofttech.com
