Job TitleWood FinisherLocation:NPreston St. 19104We are looking fora detail-oriented Wood Finisher/Spray Booth Operatorwith experience in HVLP Spraying/Finishing to join in the production of our high-quality Pilates apparatus.Job SummaryUtilizing HVLP (High Volume Low Pressure) spray guns and applying clear even finishes in a spray booth environment to finish furniture grade Pilates equipment.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate HVLP spray guns to apply high-quality clear coats and even finishes to wood products Utilize wood shop tools like the orbital sander to prepare the wood panels for finishing Ensure smooth and precise application of clear coat to meet the company’s standards for quality and durability Maintain a clean and organized spray booth environment Meticulously inspect finished products to ensure consistency and quality Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of spray equipment Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols QualificationsHigh-school level education or equivalent; vocational or trade school training are a plus. 2-4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a woodshop or cabinet shop environment. Proficiency in using HVLP spray guns for woodworking finishes. Familiarity with spray booth operations and safety requirements. Strong attention to detail and experience performing quality control checks. Excellent communication and ability to work either independently or in a team to meet production details. Adaptable and problem solver, with the ability to switch priorities as the production timeline shifts. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed Working ConditionsThe role may require standing for extended periods and working with various woodshop machinery and tools. Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided and must be worn as required.
