This position will be responsible for ensuring that all rental guests, homeowners, and their families are properly welcomed and granted access, while upholding the highest standards of service consistent with the Alys Beach brand .$18.00 per hour. First day medical benefits and company profit sharing. $1,000 sign-on bonus for this position.Job ResponsibilitiesGreet and welcome owners and guests in accordance with the Alys Beach service standardsProvide physical presence at Guest Services Office, Caliza pool, Beach Club and Beach access points to prevent unauthorized access, always maintaining a friendly, efficient and courteous mannerCheck credentials using Jonas computer system to ensure pool & beach patrons are authorized guests or ownersAnswer owner and guest inquiries about services, facilities, restaurants, transportation, entertainment, hours of operation, etc.Establish and maintain good communication and team work with fellow employees and other departments within Alys BeachCross-train to learn all Guest Service Functions to offer the highest level of Guest Service.Adhere to all service standards for departmentParticipate in and support Resort and company efforts toward sustainability and environmental initiatives as part of the company programAssist patrons with access to towels if neededAssist with housekeeping in the absence of attendant if neededCoordinate with Alys Beach Security for removal of unauthorized/disruptive persons from pool or beach areaJob RequirementsHigh school diploma or GEDEssential Job FunctionMay require lifting of up to 30 poundsAbility to perform basic math functionsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidaysAbility to work outside in all weather conditionsAbility to stand for long periods of timeAbility to walk on uneven and wet surfaces, climb stairs, ladders, ramps, etc.Remaining even tempered in stressful situationsWe are an equal opportunity employer and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local fair employment practices laws.
