Electrical Engineer📍 DFW Metroplex - Euless, TX🏢 Full-Time | In-OfficeBuild Your Engineering Career Hurst Electric is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support commercial and industrial electrical construction projects throughout the DFW Metroplex. This role offers hands-on experience in electrical design, project coordination, and construction operations while working alongside experienced engineers and project managers.This position provides unique exposure to the complete project lifecycle, including engineering, estimating, project management, field operations, and client coordination. Recent graduates and early-career professionals are encouraged to apply. This role provides long-term opportunities to develop technical expertise, project management skills, and construction operations experience.What You'll DoAssist with low- and medium-voltage electrical system design and construction coordinationPrepare and update electrical drawings, schematics, and construction documentsSupport project managers with submittals, RFIs, project reporting, and schedulingAssist with project planning, estimating, and coordination activities throughout the project lifecycleCoordinate with subcontractors, architects, engineers, vendors, and field teamsHelp ensure projects remain on schedule and within budgetParticipate in project meetings and jobsite visits as neededUtilize AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and related software to support engineering and project documentationEnsure work aligns with National Electrical Code (NEC) standardsGain exposure to estimating, project management, and construction operationsEducationBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering preferredFE/EIT certification or pursuit of licensure is a plus, but not requiredEmployer-sponsored support available for FE, EIT, and PE developmentSkills & ExperienceUnderstanding of electrical power distribution systemsFamiliarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC)Experience with AutoCAD or similar design software is preferredStrong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentInterest in project management, construction coordination, and field operationsConstruction industry experience is beneficial but not requiredWhat We OfferCompetitive CompensationHealth, Dental, Vision & Life Insurance401(k) with Company MatchPaid Time Off & Paid National HolidaysMileage ReimbursementCollaborative Team Environment*As part of our hiring process, completion of the Culture Index assessment is required for consideration.
