Commercial Route Driver
DescriptionSullivan Tire, an employee-owned company, is seeking a Commercial Route Driver. This position is responsible for the delivery of commercial tires to internal and external customers for assigned territory which includes loading and unloading the truck. Adheres to internal controls, policies and procedures.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for loading, delivering and unloading product to assigned accounts in the most efficient manner while complying with all the rules of the road.Keeps a current and valid driver’s license with a driving record acceptable to our corporate insurers and Loss Prevention Supervisor.Processes invoices accurately using the POS system and through having a solid understanding of product and pricing.Assigned an account base with scheduled deliveries to large accounts. Partner with the commercial sales team on accounts to increase sales.Assumes additional responsibilities as requested.RequirementsEducation/Experience:Minimum high school diploma with 2 years of commercial driving experience. Must be able to lift up to 125 lbs. Valid drivers license with Department of Transportation medical card required.
