Job Title: Restaurant Bookkeeper (Onsite – Philadelphia) The Mission: Accounting for Owners, Not Just for CPAs The Role Most accounting firms focus on "compliance"—making sure the tax returns are pretty at the end of the year.We don't.Our business management company provides accounting support to restaurant owners on terms that actually make sense tothem . We are looking for a Philadelphia-based, "full-charge" bookkeeper who lives and breathes the hospitality industry. You won't just be pushing buttons in QuickBooks; you will be the financial engine behind some of Philly’s best independent operators. What You’ll Do Manage QBO Enterprise:Maintain clean, organized books for multiple restaurant entities using QuickBooks Online Enterprise. Speak "Owner":Provide reports that tell a story. If food costs are spiking or labor is bloated, you see it first and help the owner understand why. Weekly Rhythm:Manage the "Flash Report" cycle. Owners need to know how they didlast week , not six months ago. The Philly Factor:Handle the local nuances—Philadelphia Payroll, Sales Tax, Liquor Tax, and other filings. Tech Stack:Seamlessly manage integrations between POS systems (Toast, Square, etc.) and QBO to ensure data integrity.Who You Are Hospitality-Hardened:You’ve worked in the back office of a restaurant group or handled books for multiple hospitality clients. You know that a 1% shift in COGS is the difference between profit and loss. QBO Expert:You don't just "know" QuickBooks; you understand how to navigate Enterprise-level features like class tracking and complex inventory. The "Anti-CPA" Mindset:You understand that while tax compliance is necessary, the owner’s ability to make decisions today is the priority. Local:You are based in or near Philadelphia and thrive in an onsite, collaborative office environment.Qualifications 3+ yearsof bookkeeping experience specifically in theRestaurant/Hospitalitysector. Expert-level proficiencyin QuickBooks Online (Enterprise experience preferred). Deep understanding ofPrime Cost(COGS + Labor) and restaurant-specific P&L structures.
