14622Title: Building Maintenance EngineerLocation: 4300 Kyoto Gardens Dr, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33410* Hours of Work - 7am - 4pm; some overtime - possibly about 4 hours a week (it varies)* ON-CALL - Rotating schedule every 3rd week.* Candidate is responsible for responding to the site after hours if the alarms go off. We need candidates at the site when this happens within 45 minutes (at the latest by 1 hour but expectation is 45 minutes)Manager will do a phone interview first and then will be followed by in person interview. Potential contract to hire.• Core Responsibilities:o Monitor, maintain, and repair building systems, including mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and fire life safety systems.o Perform general preventive maintenance and corrective repairs for commercial HVAC and refrigeration units.o Analyze complex technical problems and implement innovative solutions.• Qualifications:o Minimum of five (5) years of building engineering experience.o Strong focus on HVAC/R, electrical, and plumbing.o EPA certification is preferred.• Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more and climb stairs or ladders.Top 3 Things the manager is looking for:#1.
