Position Overview
We are seeking a Wealth Advisor to join our team. This is not an entry-level position but is an ideal opportunity for an intelligent, motivated advisor with a minimum of 3+ years of true financial planning experience.
Candidates that fit into our culture will desire to be in a high-performing environment and have a true passion for helping clients through accounting, tax, and wealth solutions. We are not too formal. We are heavy users of efficient processes and technology (not paper). We are not resistant to change and pay close attention to details.
The position does not require business development but does incentivize it.
A path to partnership is available for those who contribute to the equity growth of the firm.
Responsibilities and Duties
Collect, organize, and synthesize information with accuracy in conjunction with firm processes
Construct financial and tax projections using Money Guide Pro, Morningstar, Tamarac, and tax planning software
Effectively formulate and deliver advice to clients
Be solely responsible for successful client relationship management
Execute delivery of TW’s investment management philosophy
Field ad hoc planning questions from clients, interacting professionally and respectfully in all communications
Qualifications and Skills
CFP®, CFA, or CPA required
Minimum of 3+ years in wealth management environment (preferably RIA); or CPA with income tax experience making career change considered
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Strong financial and analytical skills
Strong active listening and communication skills (verbal and written)
Able to work independently with a ‘no job is beneath me’ attitude
Above average knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
Experience with Money Guide Pro, Morningstar, Tamarac, PlannerCS a plus
