Club Controller

THE CLUB AT KUKUI'ULACLUB CONTROLLERRole OverviewThe Club Controller is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of The Club at Kukui'ula, including budgeting, financial statement analysis, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with experience in hospitality or a related industry. This is a department head management-level position that plays a critical role in facilitating financial information, processes, and services for The Club at Kukui'ula. This role requires a broad range of financial and analytical skills, demonstrated financial acumen, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Management or Accounting, or equivalent industry training4+ years of experience in hospitality financial management, including budgeting, financial statement analysis, and accounting principlesProficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and OutlookStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and customer service skillsExperience with POS sales software, Property Management, HOA, and/or Real Estate Sales transactions a plusResponsibilitiesPrepare and manage the Club budget and KCA budgetDistribute monthly preliminary financial statementsReview and approve AP invoices in Plate IQLiaise with Department Heads to ensure accurate accounting and financial reportingLiaise with external partners - CPA, insurance brokers, collections, etc.Review and post monthly dues and finance chargesFacilitate monthly closing process and maintain accounting chart of accountsProvide backup support to the Club Accounting AssociateTEAM KUKUI'ULA BenefitsWe are not a team because we work together.
