Job DescriptionIdentifies, separates from scrap and grinds bottles and performs which can be reused in the manufacturing process.Essential FunctionsProvide visual and aesthetic inspection of product scrapped from production processes in SBM and RHB.Separates rejected material into scrap and regrindable material.Grinds material deemed reusable in the manufacturing process, weighs and reports weight of regrind daily.Responsible for staging regrind as directed by Production manager.Provide general housekeeping duties for assigned area daily and weekly and submits report daily.Responsible for maintaining the Food Safety Program (GMP)Other duties as assignedPosition RequirementManual Dexterity -- The ability to quickly move hand, hand together with arm, or two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.Fork-lift – The ability to operate forklifts according to OSHA standards. Must be eligible to become certified within first 23 hours of work.Mechanical aptitude – The ability to use hand tools.Forklift certification – The ability to operate a forklift in a safe manner consistent with OSHA standardsInformation Ordering -- The ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules (e.g., patterns of numbers, letters, words, pictures, mathematical operations).Near Vision -- The ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).Extent Flexibility -- The ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and/or legs.Wrist-Finger Speed -- The ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists.Multilimb Coordination -- The ability to coordinate two or more limbs (for example, two arms, two legs, or one leg and one arm) while sitting, standing, or lying down.
