This internship offers an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, global real estate platform, gaining hands-on experience with WordPress website development, optimization, and testing. You will play a key role in improving the performance and user experience of our website while learning valuable skills in web development and digital marketing.Key Responsibilities:Audit the current website: Conduct a detailed analysis of the Markondo WordPress site, identifying areas for improvement (e.g., layout, design, responsiveness).Optimize website performance: Implement enhancements to reduce load times and ensure smooth navigation across devices (desktop, tablet, mobile).Improve user experience: Analyze and test the user interface (UI) to create a seamless and intuitive browsing experience for our global audience.WordPress updates: Update themes, plugins, and core software regularly to ensure the website is secure, up-to-date, and running efficiently.Testing and troubleshooting: Run website performance tests and troubleshoot any issues (broken links, loading errors, etc.) to ensure site functionality.Collaboration: Work closely with our content and marketing teams to integrate SEO-friendly content and features that enhance visibility.Requirements:Current college student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Web Development, Information Technology, or a related field.Experience with WordPress, including plugin installation and theme customization.Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web development best practices.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.A passion for improving user experience and website performance.An interest in working in a start up environment.Not required but would be a bonus: experience/knowledge of Real Estate.What You’ll Gain:Hands-on experience optimizing a live, global platform in the real estate industry.Mentorship from experienced professionals in Real Estate.Opportunities to develop technical skills and gain exposure to real-world digital projects.Flexibility to work remotely and manage your own schedule.If you’re eager to build your skills and contribute to a growing company, we’d love to hear from you!IndustryReal EstateEmployment TypePart-time
