Defend the Edge.D2 Technical Services is looking for a Senior Endpoint Security Engineer who's ready to do work that actually matters. You'll be embedded with our team supporting the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) - one of the Intelligence Community's most critical GEOINT missions. You'll be a key voice in shaping how endpoint security is designed, deployed, and sustained across a large-scale enterprise environment:Architect and enforce security configurations that protect networks, devices, and data from real-world threatsLead engineering and sustainment of enterprise Trellix endpoint security solutions (ENS, DLP, Policy Auditor, FIM, Application Whitelisting)Drive security infrastructure from design through implementation - including system configuration, standards documentation, and policy managementPartner directly with software vendors and the customer to research and roll out enterprise-wide security enhancementsOwn incident investigation and reporting, and lead the charge on corrective actionAdvise senior leadership and customers with clear, actionable status reports and security assessmentsWhat You BringRequired:Active TS/SCI clearance - must be current; polygraph required post-hireDoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II certification - currentCSSP Infrastructure Support cert (CEH, CySA+, or similar) - or ability to obtain within 120 daysBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field + 5 years of hands-on experienceSolid expertise administering applications in Windows enterprise environmentsProven experience with Trellix product suite in large-scale deploymentsFamiliarity with DoD Architecture Framework and enterprise network strategic planningComfortable briefing senior stakeholders and translating technical complexity into clear guidanceWhy D2?D2 Technical Services is a people-first company built on the belief that the right engineer in the right role changes everything. The salary range for this position is typically $170-175k.
