This position is central to achieving superior patient outcomes through clinical assessment, specialized therapy management, and expert consultation. We offer a stable, professional work environment where you can focus on patient safety and therapy optimization within a single, state-of-the-art facility.Schedule & SettingHours: Day Shift (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM).Location: 100% On-Site at the Ogdensburg Campus (Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center).Call: Once-a-month weekend call.Core ResponsibilitiesClinical Assessment: Monitor prescribed drug therapies for safety and effectiveness across diverse patient populations within the facility.Consultation: Partner with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to optimize medication utilization and hospital resources.Patient Education: Participate in direct patient teaching and discharge counseling.Compliance: Maintain QA and regulatory standards to ensure the highest level of departmental pharmacy practice. RequirementsLicensure: Current NYS Pharmacy License (upcoming graduates welcome!)Certification: Current BLS Certification.Experience: Hospital experience is heavily preferred (Retail experience will be considered).Knowledge: Proficiency in specialized hospital pharmacy functions and clinical information systems.
