Social Worker

Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our team. Responsibilities: - Provide case management services to individuals with developmental disabilities, including assessment, planning, and implementation of individualized treatment plans. - Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to empower clients to take an active role in their treatment and support their personal growth and development. - Conduct behavioral assessments and develop and implement individualized behavioral plans using applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including medical professionals, educators, and counselors, to ensure comprehensive care and support. - Provide patient assessment and counseling services, including behavioral health support, to help clients achieve their personal and medical goals. - Develop and maintain relationships with clients and their families, providing ongoing support and education to help them navigate the care system. - Stay current with medical terminology and best practices in the field of behavioral health, and apply this knowledge to the development and implementation of client treatment plans. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field. - Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. - Strong knowledge of case management principles and practices. - Familiarity with motivational interviewing and applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques. - Certification as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or a Certified Social Worker (CSW) is preferred. - Experience with Christian counseling or special education is a plus. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and maintain a positive and supportive attitude.
