Financial Planning & Analysis Manager (Remote)

Position Summary:We are currently seeking a Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager to join our team. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of FP&A, the successful candidate will be responsible for understanding and effectively communicating the drivers of quarterly performance as well as modeling and forecasting future estimates, tracking financial progress through the quarter versus plan and guidance, and creating financial models for ad-hoc analysis.Remote option is available but will require quarterly travel to our global headquarters in Batesville, IN. Work You’ll Do:Understand, analyze, and communicate key drivers of quarterly performance to senior management.Develop and maintain financial models to measure and forecast quarterly earnings, impacts of operational and corporate development activitiesMonitoring actual performance vs. budget; identifying, and analyzing variations.Create and maintain financial models for ad-hoc analysis to support strategic decision-making.Use sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgement and identify innovative solutions to solve complex problems.Job requires creative analytical thought of industry trends, as well as in-depth practical experience to develop creative solutions, as well as using specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise. Guided by functional policies, impacts the achievement of key stakeholders.Collaborate with various teams to gather and analyze financial information, ensuring all reporting requirements are met.Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for senior management and board of directors.Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as required.Team:This position reports to the Senior Director of FP&A and does not have any direct reports.Basic Qualifications:Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial audiences.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.Experience with financial planning and analysis practices, including forecasting and budgeting.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
