Job Summary: As a Power Generation Technician, you will beresponsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, andrepair of power generation equipment, including diesel and natural gasgenerators, transfer switches, and related systems. You will work on avariety of projects, ensuring our clients\' power systems operateefficiently and reliably. This role requires strong technical expertise,problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and customersatisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Perform preventive maintenance,inspections, and repairs on power generation equipment, includinggenerators, engines, and control systems. Diagnose and troubleshootelectrical, mechanical, and electronic issues in generator systems.Conduct load bank testing, system upgrades, and installations as needed.Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and companyprotocols. Document service activities, including detailed reports onmaintenance, repairs, and parts used. Collaborate with team members andcommunicate effectively with clients to ensure exceptional servicedelivery. Respond to emergency service calls and provide on-call supportas needed. Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicles in excellentworking conditions. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent;technical school or vocational training in power generation, electrical,or mechanical systems preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience as aPower Generation Technician or in a related field preferred (e.g.,diesel mechanic, electrical technician). Strong knowledge of diesel andnatural gas engines, electrical systems, and control panels. Familiaritywith generator brands such as MTU, Cummins, Caterpillar, Kohler, orsimilar. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, multimeters, and othertesting equipment. Valid driver\'s license with a clean driving record;CDL is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in afast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention todetail. Willingness to travel to various job sites and work flexiblehours, including on-call shifts.
