Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to lead our team in a dynamic retail environment. As a Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure that our store meets its sales goals while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the retail team to ensure smooth operations. Conduct employee orientation and training programs to enhance team performance. Manage inventory control, including ordering, stocking, and maintaining accurate records. Oversee cash handling procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies. Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new staff members. Implement effective merchandising strategies to maximize sales potential. Maintain high standards of customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Monitor sales performance and assist in budgeting and forecasting efforts. Collaborate with management on marketing initiatives to drive store traffic. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the store. Skills Proven experience in supervising retail operations or similar environments. Strong negotiation skills to effectively manage vendor relationships. Proficient in employee training & development practices. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for enhancing customer interactions. Knowledge of retail math, inventory management, and bookkeeping principles. Excellent communication skills for effective team management and customer engagement. Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also demonstrating leadership capabilities. Experience in sales management, pricing strategies, and merchandising techniques.
