Residential Cad Drafter - Designer

DEZ Development LLC, a Clackamas-based Residential Real Estate Development company, is seeking a talented and self-motivated CAD Drafter/Designer to join their team. The selected candidate will work closely with the Designer and staff on a variety of project types, contributing to the creation of AutoCAD drawings and presentation graphics. Additionally, the CAD Drafter/Designer will collaborate with local jurisdictions and building officials to obtain permit approvals. Prior drafting/design work or residential remodel experience is a plus for this role.Responsibilities:Work closely with the Designer and staff on various project typesAssist in creating AutoCAD drawings and presentation graphicsCollaborate with local jurisdictions and building officials to secure permit approvalsUtilize AutoCAD or Revit proficiency to ensure accurate and detailed designsExhibit proficiency in MS Office applications such as Excel, Outlook, and WordDemonstrate the ability to comprehend and interpret construction documentsPossess a good working knowledge of construction document preparation (preferred)Apply good drafting fundamentals to produce high-quality drawingsDemonstrate self-direction and manage multiple ongoing projects concurrentlyQualifications:Proficiency in AutoCAD is essentialExperience with Revit is a plusStrong proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Outlook, and Word)Ability to read and understand construction documentsKnowledge of construction document preparation is advantageousFamiliarity with residential remodel projects is preferredExcellent drafting skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneouslyAbout Company:DEZ Development LLC offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience.
