Job Description We are looking for individuals with great attention to detail to join our Housekeeping team as a Room Attendant. The ideal candidate creates a memorable experience for our guests through their attention to detail and care they take in preparing and maintaining the public spaces and assisting the room attendants. Duties and Responsibilities Clean each assigned guestroom according to standard Cleaning and resetting guest room including bedroom, living space, balcony and bathroom areas Being courteous and helpful to guests, including reporting and guest requests or preferences Completing assigned tasks in a timely manner as outlined by housekeeping management Ensuring the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms Performing additional duties as assigned that may be outside of the normal scope of duties based on business needs Physical Requirements: Push and pull 50-75 lbs. on a regular daily basis Lifting 5-25 lbs. on a regular daily basis Pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, upward reaching Exposure to cleaning chemicals Prolonged periods of standing and or walking While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and talk or hear. The associate is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The associate is required to; climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Qualifications: Housekeeping experience desirable Neat, pleasant personality Time management skills Ability to work on feet for an extended period Ability to communicate effectively Ability to read room numbers, dates, and basic instructions. Ability to move, traverse, position self to reach corners on floors and high places; observe conditions, detect odors, position and navigate carts weighing up to 100 lbs in tight spaces; operate equipment including spray bottles, vacuums, mops, brooms, dust pans, scrub pads and dusters.
