The Mighty Argo Cable Car (MACC) visitor experience in Idaho Springs is a state-of-the-art cable car system that connects visitors to Colorado’s rich mining history, scenic mountain trailheads at Virginia Canyon Mountain Park, and breathtaking, panoramic views of the Colorado Rockies from Miner’s Point — a vibrant recreational complex featuring dining, an amphitheater, and year-round events and activities for all ages.
Position Overview
We are seeking an energetic, reliable, and service-oriented Busser to support the café and bar operations at MACC. This role plays an important part in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment for guests in a high-volume, tourist-driven setting.
As a Busser, you will assist servers and bartenders by clearing tables, maintaining cleanliness throughout the café and bar areas, and ensuring service stations remain stocked and organized. This role requires attention to detail, strong teamwork, and the ability to move quickly and efficiently during busy service periods.
In addition to supporting daily café and bar operations, bussers may assist with service needs during special events and private functions, helping ensure a smooth and positive guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
Dining Area Operations
Clear and clean tables promptly to maintain a welcoming environment for guests.
Remove used dishes, glassware, and utensils from tables and deliver them to dishwashing areas, following appropriate procedures.
Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including tables, floors, and service stations.
Assist with stocking service stations with utensils, napkins, condiments, and other service supplies.
Perform other duties as assigned to support food and beverage operations and the overall guest experience.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness by following established safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.
Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning, restocking, and preparing service areas for operation.
Guest Experience
Provide friendly, courteous, and attentive support to guests in a high-volume tourism environment.
Help maintain a welcoming and organized dining environment that enhances the overall guest experience.
Respond politely to guest requests and communicate service needs to the appropriate team member or manager.
Team Support
Work closely with bartenders, café staff, and other team members to ensure efficient service flow.
Assist team members during peak service periods to maintain smooth operations.
Support food and beverage service teams by maintaining organization and cleanliness in shared work areas.
Assist with kitchen support tasks as needed, including restocking supplies, dishwashing, and maintaining organized back-of-house areas to support efficient operations.
Special Events Support
Assist with dining area setup and breakdown during special events.
Maintain table cleanliness and support beverage and café service during event operations.
Coordinate with food & beverage and guest services teams to help maintain an organized and safe environment during events.

Prior food service or hospitality experience preferred.
Punctual and reliable when arriving to shifts.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Certification Requirements
Food Handler Certification required at time of hire or ability to obtain within four (4) weeks of hire.

$20.00 - $22.00 / hour, commensurate with experience
Full-time and part-time, Non-exempt
Paid biweekly
Working Conditions
On-site role based in Idaho Springs, Colorado
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather and high-altitude conditions
Ability to stand for extended periods while working
