Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Houston, TX, for a Litigation Assistant. The Litigation Assistant will provide daily support to attorneys by preparing and managing legal documents, maintaining case files, and performing legal research. Responsibilities include calendaring important deadlines, communicating with clients and court officials, and coordinating schedules to ensure smooth legal proceedings. The role requires a proactive approach, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications Experience in Law and Legal AssistanceProficiency in Legal Document Preparation and knowledge of legal proceduresStrong Communication skills for client interactions and coordinating with legal professionalsAbility to effectively manage Calendaring and scheduling of legal deadlines and case updatesDetail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skillsProficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office SuiteAssociate's degree or higher in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field preferredPrior experience in a litigation setting is a plus
