Job Description Job Title:Administrative Assistant / Customer Service CoordinatorJob Summary:First Class Electric is seeking a reliable, organized, and customer-focused Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations. Customer service, follow-ups, and schedule optimization are the core responsibilities of this role. When call volume is lighter, the position will also assist with outbound follow-ups, light sales support, and basic marketing and social media tasks.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, staying organized, and contributing to the overall efficiency and growth of a busy service-based business. Times : Monday - Friday 1pm-7:30pm. Alternative Saturday Key Responsibilities:Customer Service & Scheduling (Primary Focus)Answer incoming phone calls professionally and assist customers with questions and service requestsSchedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments to optimize technician schedules and reduce downtimePerform customer follow-ups before and after service visitsCommunicate clearly with customers regarding arrival windows, updates, and next stepsEnsure a positive customer experience from first call to job completionAdministrative SupportCreate and maintain job stories/records for ongoing and completed projectsFile and organize business documents (digital and physical)Support office operations and management with general administrative tasksSales & Outreach Support (As Needed)Make outbound follow-up or cold calls when inbound call volume is lowAssist with customer outreach related to scheduling, services, or promotionsSupport basic sales efforts using provided scripts and guidanceMarketing & Online Presence Support (As Time Allows)Assist with basic social media posting and content coordinationRespond to customer reviews (Google and other platforms) under directionHelp document completed jobs for internal records or marketing useRequirements:Strong customer service and phone communication skillsComfortable managing schedules and performing follow-upsComfortable making outbound calls when neededBasic computer skills (email, scheduling software, document management)Strong organizational and time-management skillsAttention to detail and ability to multitaskReliable, professional, and positive attitudePreferred (Not Required):Experience in customer service, office administration, or home servicesFamiliarity with scheduling systems or CRM softwareBasic knowledge of social media or marketing supportCompany DescriptionFirst Class Electric is a trusted mostly residential and light commercial electrical service provider based in Central New Jersey.
