Truck Mechanic

Job TitleWe, at Pacific Rail Services, are looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic for a full-time permanent position in our Bergen, NJ rail terminal.Work LocationCSX North Bergen Terminal6201 Tonnelle AveNorth Bergen, NJ 07047CompensationHourly pay with yearly income potential of $45,000-$60,000 per year (includes overtime).Pay rate is commensurate with experience.ShiftDay shift, 24/7 call-out availability.CandidatesMinimum of 2-year experience in the mechanical field and preventive-maintenance minded.Must have own tools (yearly tool allowance provided).Experience and knowledge with Air, Electrical, Hydraulic and Diesel systems and components.Valid driver's license required.Primary ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair forklifts, company vehicles, and hostler fleet.Maintain Hostler Fleet.Assist in other areas as needed by managers.General Employment RequirementsValid Driver's License.Advanced knowledge of railroad industry from a vocational education institute, apprenticeship, on-the-job training and/or similar work experience.Must be able to pass a 7-year background check.
