The CE professionally represents the Company to attain and maintain accounts throughout the community. May attend discharge/multidisciplinary rounds in acute care, ambulatory and or other settings within the health system to share expertise and to assist the patient in transition of care from one setting to the next within the health system. The CE complies with company policies and follows all legal rules and regulations.Qualifications & AttributesBachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field or 4 years of healthcare sales experience, preferably in homecare or hospiceA high degree of creativity, and a proven sales track recordAbility to create positive impressions and communicate with a variety of peopleMaintain effective communication with patients, families, physicians and co-workersPresents self in a highly professional mannerAbility to make appropriate judgmentsAbility to identify a situation and handle it with the best possible solutionAbility to work as a team memberAbility to take initiative, attain targets and meet deadlinesMajor Areas Of ResponsibilityEducate those in the healthcare field regarding the Company services; i.e.: physician’s offices, long-term care facilities, rehabs and hospitalsDevelop and maintain relationships with all healthcare professionals in the surrounding communitiesCreate awareness in the community of the need and benefits of home healthcare servicesNetwork and attend business organizations on behalf of the CompanyDevelop and organize educational programs for the community and healthcare workersMaintain existing accountsEducate clients and prepare them for servicesCoordinate new referral admission process to ease transition by working closely with the Company internal staffFollow-up with referrals to assess how service is going through phone calls, letters and visitsPrepare weekly marketing reports for supervisorPrepare monthly expense reportsSet weekly, monthly and yearly goals in obtaining new accounts, referrals and customersAttends in-service trainings and mandatory agency meetingsMaintains a professional appearance as a representative of the companyAttend on-going educational seminars to keep updated on new trends in Medicare, Medicaid, Home Healthcare policies, etc.MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITY: N/AHealth QualificationsPhysical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job with or without a reasonable accommodation.Below are minimal knowledge/physical requirements of this position.
