This role operates effectively in a matrixed environment, demonstrating strong ownership, adaptability, and the ability to influence stakeholders. The analyst helps translate plans into action through operational insights, delivers clear performance reporting, and manages forecasting to support business goals.What You Will DoSupport key FP&A processes include weekly business reviews, monthly expense forecasting, annual planning and strategic planning. Design, develop, and deliver insightful financial reporting, dashboards, and analyses. Lead executive-directed projects such as expense productivity, network optimization analysis, and financial storytelling. Supports financial modeling and business analytics to address P&L and Balance Sheet queries. Collaborate across finance teams and the business to provide root cause analysis and actionable insights based on financial and non-financial data to business partners. Communicates financial and non-financial insights to leaders by preparing analyses using multiple data sources; identify and proactively source necessary inputs for analysis; support operational and financial storytelling. Provide proactive and timely financial analysis that highlights risks and opportunities to drive better business decisions. Ownership of corporate SG&A planning, forecasting, and reporting through collaboration with Supply Chain leadership across the organization. Applies solid knowledge of financial and business analytics principles to all deliverables; leverages an understanding of policies, data, and resources to support projects or initiatives; collaborates cross-functionally to solve business problems; identifies, recommends, and implements ways to address improvement opportunities. Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable3 Years Experience in finance or analytical role with a public company, public accounting, or relatedExperience in structuring and writing formal documents, developing and delivering group presentations, project planning, and/or cross-functional collaborationExperience with financial forecasting or analytic modeling and report automationPreferred Skills/EducationMaster’s degree Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field or equivalent experience6 Years Experience in finance or analytical role with a public company, public accounting, or relatedExperience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, Corporate Accounting, Supply Chain Finance or related fieldExperience with tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Superset, Microstrategy, Qlik, etc. Experience with SQL and familiarity of enterprise-grade environment (Teradata, Hadoop, Presto)Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) based systems, multi-dimensional databases, such as TM1, Hyperion or EssebaseExperience with business intelligence reporting tools (e.g., MicroStrategy, Business Objects, Cognos, Teradata, SSIS, Svr.)About Lowe’sLowe’s Companies, Inc.
