Power BI Developer

Position: Power BI DeveloperLocation: 100% REMOTESummary:Seeking a skilled and analytical Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions that support data-driven decision-making across an organizationThe ideal candidate will have strong experience with Power BI, SQL, and Data Analysis, along with the ability to transform complex data into meaningful dashboards, reports, and actionable insightsThis role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, data engineers, and leadership teams to understand reporting requirements, improve data quality, and deliver scalable reporting solutionsThis position is 100% RemoteResponsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizationsGather and analyze business requirements to translate them into effective reporting solutionsDevelop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database views to support reporting and analytics needsCreate and maintain data models using Power BI and DAXPerform data validation, cleansing, and transformation using Power Query and other ETL methodologiesMonitor report performance and implement optimizations for large datasetsCollaborate with business users to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities through data analysisEnsure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting platformsDevelop and maintain documentation for reports, data models, and reporting processesProvide technical support and training to end users on Power BI reporting solutionsStay current with emerging Power BI features, data analytics technologies, and industry best practicesQualifications:3+ years of experience in Power BI development and business intelligence reportingStrong proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, Power Query, DAX (Data Analysis Expressions), and Data ModelingAdvanced SQL skills, including Query Development, Joins and Subqueries, Views, Stored Procedures, and Performance TuningExperience with analyzing large datasets and presenting findings to business stakeholdersStrong understanding of relational databases and data warehousing conceptsExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsBachelors’ Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related fieldPreferred Qualifications:Experience with Azure Data Services, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, or Microsoft FabricKnowledge of ETL processes and data integration toolsExperience with data governance and data quality managementPower BI Certification (PL-300: Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate) preferredExperience with working in Agile development environmentsKnowledge of Python, R, or other analytical tools is a plusBanking/Financial Services experience is a plusWhy Join ParadigmAt Paradigm, integrity drives innovation.
