Electrical Engineer

Chipton-Ross is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a contract opportunity in Littleton/Waterton, CO. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):• 3+ years of analog circuit design (Internship experience ok).• BA Degree.• Ability to read and interpret engineering documentation (such as Interface Control Documents (ICDs), electrical schematics, CAD models, and assembly level engineering drawings).• Systems engineering experience in requirements and verification.• Circuit Failure Mode Analysis.• Visio.• Willingness to travel (AL, CO, CA, PA...)• Active Secret Clearance.SKILLS MATRIX:• Circuit Design- 2 - 4 Years• Electrical Troubleshooting- 1 - 2 Years• Computer Aided Design (CAD)- 1 - 2 Years• Visio- 2 - 4 Years• Circuit Failure Mode Analysis- 1 - 2 Years• Electrical Standards 2 - 4 Years• Electrical Testing- 2 - 4 Years• Read Electrical Schematics- 2 - 4 Years• Requirements Development- 1 - 2 YearsPOSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
