This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment and can step in and make an immediate impact.What You'll DoRun day-to-day accounting across billing, AR, AP, general ledger, and reportingDrive the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close to keep everything accurate and on scheduleBuild and interpret balance sheets, P&L statements, and other financial reportingSign off on journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysisKeep cash flow healthy by staying on top of collections and vendor payment timingHandle sales tax returns and other filings across domestic and international entitiesOwn fixed asset tracking, depreciation schedules, and purchase accounting tied to M&A activityAct as the go-to contact for external auditors and keep the company SOX-compliantShape and document accounting policies, procedures, and internal controlsAdminister the accounting tech stack — NetSuite, D365, Avalara, Ramp, Versapay, and QuickBooksLead and develop accounting staff, and pitch in on budgeting and forecastingWhat You BringBachelor's in Accounting or Finance is required; CPA is a plusAt least 7 years in accounting, with a deep command of GAAP and financial reporting standardsWell-rounded leadership, communication, analytical, and organizational strengthsComfort managing accounting platforms — NetSuite and/or D365 experience is a bonusSharp eye for detail and accuracy, with the ability to juggle competing prioritiesPrivate equity exposure is a nice-to-haveThe Keller Group is a boutique executive search firm specializing in accounting and finance placements across the Phoenix market.
