And now, we’re looking for a Field Operations Specialist to join our team and play a critical, boots-on-the-ground role in delivering outstanding service to our customers.If you love working with your hands, thrive in fast-paced environments, and want a role where no two days look the same—this might be the opportunity for you.What You’ll DoAs a Field Operations Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of our onsite operations—supporting installations, repairs, and service work while collaborating closely with customers, technicians, and internal teams.Your Impact Will IncludeFabricating, installing, and repairing conveyor belting and systemsSupporting on-site field operations, including installations, maintenance, and service projectsCoordinating job logistics like scheduling, materials, tools, and manpowerAssisting field service technicians with setup, teardown, and job-site activitiesServing as a key liaison between customers, field teams, and internal departmentsEnsuring all work is completed safely and in compliance with OSHA, Belt Power policies, and customer site requirementsMaintaining accurate job documentation, service reports, and safety recordsInspecting work areas, tools, and materials to identify issues or safety concernsTracking materials and supporting inventory for field jobsRepresenting Belt Power professionally at all timesRequirementsWhat we're looking forYou don’t need decades of experience—hands-on aptitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn go a long way here.1+ year of experience in field service, mechanical work, or maintenanceStrong mechanical aptitude and ability to read basic mechanical drawingsExperience using tape measures and performing precise measurementsOSHA 10 Certification and Forklift LicenseValid driver’s license with a clean driving recordAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. and work at heights or in confined spacesWillingness to travel, work overtime, weekends, and overnight as neededHigh school diploma or equivalentAbility to pass a drug screen and background checkPreferred QualitiesPrevious experience in conveyor belt maintenance or as a belt technicianStrong communication and customer service skillsHighly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptableA team-first attitude and desire to grow your skillsWork EnvironmentThis role combines shop-based work and on-site field service. You’ll work around heavy equipment in an active environment that requires PPE and a strong commitment to safety.
