This role requires an experienced engineer who is equally comfortable building front-end and back-end applications as well as managing cloud infrastructure, containerized deployments, and DevOps processes.This position combines traditional full stack software engineering responsibilities with significant infrastructure and cloud engineering duties. Successful candidates must possess hands-on experience deploying and managing applications in containerized and cloud-native environments, not just familiarity with these technologies.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications and APIs.Build and support front-end applications utilizing React and legacy Vue-based applications.Develop back-end services using Node.js, Python FastAPI, and Python Flask.Design and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases, including schema design, indexing, and performance tuning.Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot applications running in Docker and Kubernetes environments.Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.Design and integrate secure RESTful APIs.Implement authentication and authorization solutions using OAuth2, OpenID Connect, MSAL, and Microsoft Entra ID/Azure App Registrations.Build and manage cloud infrastructure within AWS environments.Create and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform or OpenTofu.Collaborate with stakeholders, product teams, and other technical staff to deliver secure, reliable, and maintainable solutions.Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.Required QualificationsExperienceMinimum 5 years of full stack software engineering experience.Minimum 3 years of experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, with strong preference for React.Production experience developing applications with Node.js and Python.Experience designing and supporting relational databases at scale.Demonstrated hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, containerization, and deployment automation.Required Technical SkillsReact (primary framework)Vue.js (legacy application support)Node.jsNuxtPython FastAPIPython FlaskMicrosoft SQL ServerSchema designQuery optimizationPerformance tuningDockerKubernetes (hands-on deployment and administration experience required)Git and GitLabCI/CD pipeline development and maintenanceRESTful API design and developmentOAuth2 and OpenID ConnectMSAL and Microsoft Entra ID / Azure App RegistrationsAWS Services:EC2ECS/EKSRDSS3IAMCloudWatchTerraform or OpenTofu
