Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Landscaper to join our dynamic team dedicated to creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor environments. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a variety of landscaping tasks, from planting and lawn care to hardscape installation and tree trimming. Your expertise will help transform outdoor spaces into vibrant, functional, and aesthetically pleasing areas. Responsibilities Perform lawn care activities including mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and weed control to ensure healthy, lush lawns. Maintain landscape features such as flower beds, shrubs, trees, and lawns through pruning, trimming, planting, and watering. Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like planting, edging, digging, and installing landscape features. Use machinery such as excavators for larger projects like grading or hardscape installation. Install and repair hardscape elements including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures. Conduct tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and removal to promote healthy growth and safety. Assist with irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure efficient watering practices across landscapes. Perform seasonal tasks like snow plowing during winter months to keep outdoor areas accessible and safe. Maintain equipment through regular inspections and basic repairs to ensure optimal performance. Follow safety protocols consistently while working with construction equipment or hazardous materials. Experience Prior experience in landscaping or horticulture is highly preferred; familiarity with landscape maintenance is essential. Mechanical knowledge related to operating power tools, hand tools, and small machinery such as excavators is required. Demonstrated ability in lawn care techniques including mowing, fertilizing, aeration, and weed management. Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming, pruning, planting, and removal procedures. Experience working with irrigation systems or sprinkler installation is a plus. Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
