To that end, do not include wage or salary information in your resume or other profile or application materials.Essential Functions Under general supervision, serves as a Storekeeper for the Bureau of Buildings & Grounds for the Department of Agriculture. Ensures quantity and quality of all receivables through accurate and timely record keeping. Assists in the movement and delivery of Department equipment and supplies. Performs other duties as assigned which are within the scope of duties enumerated above.Minimum Qualifications Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of four years high school. Requires one-year experience in the keeping of stores and stores records.Preferred Qualifications Prefers experience preparing purchase requisitions. Prefers experience with preparing stock records and reports. Prefers experience with determining quality of goods against prescribed specifications.Conditions of Employment Requires completion of a name-based background screening and self-disclosure of criminal history. Requires ability to travel in the performance of duties. Requires appropriate, valid driver's license. This position is considered heavy work as defined by the U.S. Department of Labor (20 CFR 404.1567(d)). Heavy work involves lifting no more than 100 pounds at a time with frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
