Endpoint Security and Risk Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and proactive Endpoint Security and Risk Manager to lead the deployment, configuration, and management of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (DfE) in a secure GCC-H/GCC environment. This role will focus on ensuring endpoint protection, risk mitigation, and compliance across the enterprise by leveraging tools like Intune, Active Directory, and custom scripting. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, hands-on experience with endpoint security, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Key Responsibilities: Deploy and configure Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (DfE) using Microsoft Intune and/or Active Directory Group Policy (GPO). Develop and test deployment scripts for endpoint security management, including automation of legacy antivirus removal. Support and maintain DfE infrastructure components, including storage, access controls, and integration with other security platforms. Ensure comprehensive device onboarding, policy compliance, and real-time reporting for all managed endpoints. Align security configurations with Microsoft best practices and industry standards, and troubleshoot issues related to DfE deployment and operation. Collaborate closely with GPO and IT security teams to support and achieve strategic endpoint protection goals. Monitor endpoint health and risk exposure, proactively identifying and remediating security gaps. Maintain thorough documentation of configurations, policies, deployments, and risk assessments. Ensure compliance with organizational, regulatory, and GCC-H/GCC environment standards. Qualifications: Minimum 3+ years of experience working in GCC-H/GCC environments, with a focus on endpoint security. Proven hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint deployment and support. Solid experience with: Microsoft Intune Active Directory and GPO PowerShell or other scripting languages Endpoint protection and risk management tools Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, highly secure IT environment. Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
