The Logistics Coordinator is primarily responsible for the timely delivery of quality goods/services and manages logistics of OFCI/CFCI materials. Coordinates of all physical inventory for Supply Chain Management. Leads and develops Logistics Team Members to accomplish these tasks. Completes reports related to logistics functions, to include but not limited to: risk analysis for materials & storage, inventory management, relevant budgetary compliance, material logistics, continuous improvement and overall Logistics strategies. Follows safe work practices in accordance to company and client worksite policiesPromote company CORE Values to foster and safeguard family-centric cultureSupports Project Managers, Superintendent, Procurement, Project Engineer and FieldSupervisors with logistics of materials to effectively deliver value to the clientLeader for developing, complying, executing and continuously improving processes for safe and effective remote warehouse operations and compliance to warehouse lease contractMonitor and track job site vehicle assets; condition, cleanliness, safety attributes and scheduling of repair/maintenance needsOversight for coordination of all inbound and outbound warehouse deliveriesResponsible and accountable for tracking of materials, storage conditions, physical status, custody transfers and inventory management to support site operationsCoordinate receipt of deliveries, verify accuracy, determine materials handling and storage in accordance to process standards, contractual obligations, regulatory and safety requirementsResponsible for onsite CFCI material inventory levels and coordination of required shipmentsFollow through on RMA process for the physical materials to comply with suppliers’ material return policiesResponsible for reconciling Packing Lists vs. PO descriptions/quantities, maintaining material movement data, performing physical counts of inventory and verifying actual inventory vs. stock count reflected in software-generated reportsGenerate daily, weekly and monthly inventory reports; investigates gaps, seeks solutions and implement countermeasures to maintain accurate inventoryDevelop metrics that effectively measure Logistics business critical performance forQuality, Delivery and/or Cost, make them transparent and own continuous improvement efforts based on those KPI attributesChampion continuous improvement activities and support Lean initiatives across the site to align with corporate strategic goalsTrack, trend and drive structured problem solving for recurring issues that prevent realization of Logistics targetsShare better practices and learnings across sites (Yokoten) for inspiration and implementationProvide coaching, development and guidance to direct reports and/or team members, encouraging and guiding their personal developmentLead by example in exemplifying safety and professionalism on the job siteProficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Jamis, Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)Travel: The individual in this position should be able and willing to travel as required by E2.Education:High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or relevant equivalencyExperience:2 - 5 years’ knowledge and experience in Logistic/Supply Chain; preferentially in Structured Cabling or related industry/construction experienceMinimum 2 years supervisory experience; to include organizing, prioritizing and scheduling the work assignments of othersKnowledge, Skills, & Abilities:Good data analysis and calculation skills to support effective Logistics decisionsWorking knowledge of fundamental business practices and processesDemonstrated ability to work independently and in a team settingAbility to develop and anchor standard operating procedures that effectively capture Logistics processes and tasks for successful execution of the job dutiesAbility to perform duties in a professional manner and appearanceEffective performance management skillsWorking knowledge of safety protocols and proceduresExhibit a positive attitudeHigh attention to detailAbility to meet deadlinesSelf-motivated, takes initiative and demonstrates effective work ethicAdvocate, coach and lead by example continuous improvement strategies, tactics and practicesWORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The standard work environment for this position is an indoors business office and construction environment. Ability to use a computer and/or hand tools while sitting or standing for extended periods of time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk or hear, use hands, stoop, kneel, bend, rotate, push, pull, reach with hands and arms on intermittent to regular basis daily. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee must regularly carry and climb ladders to 20 feet. The employee may be required to work in tight, confided spaces. The employee must demonstrate regular and on-time attendance. There could be a requirement of occasional travel by conventional means including aircraft, motor vehicle and the like within the region and to other locations as required.
