Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an AR Denial & Billing Specialist located in the Greater Savannah Area. The primary responsibilities include handling claim denials, investigating and resolving billing discrepancies, and following up with insurance companies and patients to ensure successful claim reimbursement. The specialist will also be tasked with maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and collaborating with other team members to streamline the billing and collections process. Qualifications Proficiency in Accounts Receivable management, billing, and payment processingKnowledge of medical billing codes and insurance processes (e.g., CPT, ICD-10, EOBs)Experience in resolving claim denials and handling appealsCompetency in using billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systemsStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills for interacting with patients, insurers, and team membersFamiliarity with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA compliancePrevious experience in a healthcare or revenue cycle management setting is a plusHigh school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree in medical billing or a related field is preferred
