What You'll DoNursing Administrative Assistants provide clerical support to our nursing teams. Your efforts will help ensure efficient operations and contribute to the exceptional care provided to patients and residents.Key ResponsibilitiesGreeting and assisting visitors, residents, and staff in person and over the phoneManaging incoming and outgoing correspondence and documentationMaintaining accurate and up-to-date resident and/or staff records and chartsScheduling appointments and arranging meetingsAssisting with data entry, filing, and maintaining inventory of office suppliesCollaborating with the healthcare team to facilitate smooth operationsMay support general nursing, MDS, Case Management, Scheduling or other functional areasWe invite you to join us as a Nursing Administrative Assistant and be an essential part of the team making a real difference in people's lives in an environment where compassion, care and expertise come together! What You'll BringQualifications of a Nursing Administrative Assistant include: High school diploma or equivalent preferredAdditional certification or coursework in office administration is a plusMay require experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and in specific functional areas in a long-term care settingCompassionate and empathetic naturePatience and the ability to relate tactfully with staff, residents, family, etc.Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with bothStrong organizational skills and ability to complete assignments with minimal supervisionExcellent written and verbal communications, including proficiency in the English language and grammarProficiency in office software and basic computer skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a healthcare settingExceptional attention to detailAbility to work effectively in a team environment We Hire for Heart!
