Delivering quality patient care in a culturally diverse environment, this contract opportunity seeks a dedicated RN with expertise in Medical-Surgical nursing. You'll be supporting a population within a rural health center that acts as a key referral point for surrounding reservations, working alongside a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Orientation sessions are conducted every two weeks, and compliance with facility health policies-including the option for COVID and flu vaccination exemptions with submitted documentation-is required.Schedule/Hours:Contract position with orientation every two weeksQualifications:Active, unencumbered RN license (any US state, Puerto Rico, or US territory)Minimum of 2 years' RN experience in acute or sub-acute careCurrent certifications:Basic Life Support (BLS), American Heart AssociationAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), American Heart AssociationWillingness to complete Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) within 6 months of hireKey Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive nursing care for diverse patient populations across all age groupsAdhere to physician orders, hospital protocols, and established standards of practiceDocument and communicate patient status, collaborating in the planning and delivery of careDemonstrate clinical judgment and independence while managing assignmentsSupport patients and families during inpatient and outpatient proceduresAdditional Information:Limited on-site shared housing available ($600/month, availability-based; no family or pets permitted; housing application required 2 weeks prior to start)Serve a unique, culturally rich community alongside colleagues from a range of backgroundsAccess an interdisciplinary team committed to delivering exceptional patient outcomes
