Through constant innovation, Telink delivers system-level IoT chips with rapid time-to-market and strong value for customers.Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid Field Application Engineer role based in San Jose, CA, with the flexibility to work from home part of the time. The Field Application Engineer will provide pre- and post-sales technical support to customers, helping them evaluate, design in, and optimize Telink’s RF SoC and mixed-signal solutions. Day-to-day activities include understanding customer requirements, proposing suitable products and reference designs, assisting with hardware and firmware integration, and troubleshooting application issues. The role collaborates closely with sales, product, and engineering teams to deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and design reviews, as well as to gather customer feedback for future product improvements. The position also involves creating application notes, documentation, and training materials that enable customers to successfully deploy Telink’s IoT solutions.Qualifications Field Applications and Technical Support skills to assist customers with product selection, integration, and troubleshooting.Sales and customer-facing experience to support design wins, present technical solutions, and build long-term relationships.Analog and Electronics knowledge to understand RF, mixed-signal, and embedded system design concepts.Experience with IoT, wireless protocols (e.g., Bluetooth® Smart, Zigbee, Thread), and embedded systems development is beneficial.Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical topics clearly.Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, manage multiple customer projects, and collaborate with global teams.
