Role Description This is a full-time on-site position for a Medical Biller and Coder at our Lawrence, MA location. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing medical records, accurately coding diagnoses and procedures, processing insurance claims, and resolving claim denials. You will work closely with healthcare providers and insurance companies to ensure timely billing and reimbursement while adhering to regulatory compliance and organizational policies. Qualifications Proficiency in Medical Terminology and ICD-10 codingKnowledge of handling denials and claim resolution processesExperience with insurance policies, including MedicareStrong organizational skills and attention to detailFamiliarity with billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systemsAbility to work in a collaborative, on-site environmentCertified Professional Coder (CPC) or equivalent is a plusPrevious experience in medical billing and coding within an ophthalmology practice is highly desirable
